i have gathered the number of sacd-s released so far
for each genre. see the table below
number of sacd-s releasd so far (till today)
genres

blues 63
chanson francaise 47
chinese pop 105
classical 2934
classical orchestral 1173
country 26
demos/samplers 97
easy listening 28
folk 11
independent 3
inspirational 2
instrumental 13
japanese pop 135

altogether 6104
to my greatest surprise the sum (which is 6104) differs
from 5242 which is officialy the number of sacd-s on
our homepage.
what have i done wrong?

i have just checked the table again:
chinese pop: 105 instead of 103
demos samplers: 97 instead of 93.
no other mistakes.
i have also checked the sum which is bigger: 6110
i took the figures from the menu titles
by selecting each genre one by one. i do
not think i have made a mistake.

See that? The second is part of the first. I'm sure that others have multiple genres too.
Surprised noone else caught this...

Maybe it is just listing SACD's that are readily available from online retailers?
Only one knows for sure (Zeus)

Classical Orchestral is included in Classical. Also, you've omitted Traditional, Unassigned, Vocal and World.

there still is a very small difference (which is equal to 1).
however this does not matter.
i have observed that the item classical orchestral (which caused the problem)
was removed from the list of genres.

Perhaps it would be a good idea reducing the number of 'unassigned' titles with input from visitors, just like with the /nobarcode.php list?
