I join those who wish that Pentatone or others could license other 4.0 material from the 70's - Columbia/Sony, RCA, EMI, and others all have many 4.0 masters sitting around. What a waste not to issue them as SACD's.

Amen to that.

And why oh why did Mobile Fidelity stop their fabulous Vox reissues/remasters series?

She got the surround ??? Mine wouldnt...make of that what you will.LOL.
Yeah, it powers the home theater system, too, and my 9 year old needs that. She doesn't actually know how to load an SACD. Guess I need to teach her, although her need to listen to music and mine are radically different. She also got my old email address, so make sure you use the new one posted on this site if you send me any email.

Have you read Norman's new bio of John Lennon yet? I'm about 75% through - it is a page turner. There is minimal info on Paul, George and Ringo, but it is a bio of John and not them. Lots on Yoko, and much of it positive. Also, one the best things I have bought in the last year is the EP "Amoeba's Secret" (off topic, I know, since it's vinyl, and available only in vinyl), where Paul really rocks. I actually didn't know he still had it in him like that. It was recorded live in Amoeba Records in LA. Not great sound, but live.
