I wouldn't bet on it.

I'm sure I can find something worse in the catalogue!

This Sacre has got some nice reviews, but all say it's too safe. On the other hand, Eschenbach's Tchaik 6 has had very mixed ones, and was panned in the Gramophone. (AndrewB do you think it was a panning?) Some will immediately see this as anti-american bias, of course.

A bit out of topic maybe, but RCO Live seems to have a busy releasing schedule this year: not long after this all Stravinsky disc they released Horizon 1 - Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the first disc in their series with contemporary repertoire, and I can see that there is already coming a new disc with music by Alban Berg (Lulu Suite and 3 Orchestral Pieces) conducted by Daniele Gatti (e.g., http://www.hmv.co.jp/product/detail/2750933).

And I think that's really all for good! Their Debussy/Dutilleux/Ravel disc (Debussy, Dutilleux, Ravel - Jansons) has certainly become my favourite SACD this year. I especially love the Dutilleux Violin Concerto.

On the new discs the applause has been tracked separately (and added only after the final piece), which I also welcome.
