This is probably the best interpretation I have ever heard about this works.

On the other hand, the CD layer has a abrupt ending, cutting off all resonance at the very end.

The multichannel SACD part does not have the same issue, quite to the contrary.

Anyone experiences this?

It after all is just an anomaly between iTunes and Microsoft Media Player's CD playing function.

The abrupt ending only happened on iTunes which reports 15:45, while Microsoft Media Player reports 15:51 which is correct.

Very strange.
