Just came across these guys from a post in an audio forum.

Anyone know much about this? Is this for real?

To find out more click on "HD Music Store" at the top followed by "Super HD" on the left.

Cheers,

Dan

Looks interesting, but lack of technical detail of song formats and samplign frequencies, etc. Seem to be overcharging on an undefined product. Basic lack of detail. Maybe these are just 20-bit CD's? Certainyl not SACD class I woudl have thought.

They're not discs but downloads. If the disc covers used here http://mgn.musicgiants.com/Albums.aspx?SUPERHD=TRUE are correct they are made from SACDs. Note for instance the various Pentatone discs. Question still is to what format they encoded them, with what parameters?
