That would be great news but I'll believe it once I've got a copy in my hands. A short while ago the 20th anniversary edition of U2's 'The Joshua Tree' was also announced as SACD but now that it's released it's just RBCD and some CD+DVD combi pack.

To quote from the site:
"So, if you want to see Storm's designs for the Wish You Were Here SACD packaging (which he notes is due February 2008, but this date is by no means cast in stone!) "
Don't get excited yet!

Oh wow... my favorite Floyd album. There's been a very high quality (i.e. not made from the quad vinyl) DTS surround mix making the rounds on the 'net these past months. Kinda wondered where that came from? Maybe it was a leak of this release.

Please let this be true!!!!!!!
One day The Wall will come.
For both of these the combination of vinyl resolution and SACD clarity should be awesome.

Maybe it wasn't, just like the official SACD of 'Dark Side of the Moon' and the unofficial DVD-Audio circulating on the 'net are entirely different mixes.

Well folks, I've been checking Amazon.com on a regular basis and it's beginning to look bleak as to whether or not we'll have "Wish You Were Here" on multichannel SACD in our possession by the end of February.
I've also contacted Matt from brain-damage.co.uk and his reply was that he knew nothing more than what Floyd artist Storm Thergerson has stated.
In the meantime, I just came across this insightful interview with James Guthrie followed by an interview with Alan Parsons regarding Guthrie's work on the 2003 SACD of "Dark Side Of The Moon." My apologies if this article has already been posted here by someone else.
