Dear Forum: IS RCA reissuing any more content in the SACD format?

I would be thrilled if RCA or a smaller label would reissue Levine/CSO's 1976 recording of Mahler Symphony 3 on Hybrid SACD. I've listened to several different recordings of Mahler 3 on cd and attended a SFO/Tilson-Thomas performance in Davies Hall, but Levine's out-of-print recording is still my favorite interpretation.

Very fond memories of this set. Such a pity that RCA never completed the cycle as I'd have liked to hear Levine's take on 2 and 8. His Mahler 1 with the LSO is still a firm favourite.

I never heard any of Levine's Mahler except his RCA with Chicago doing Mahler 7...and I think that his Mahler 7 is a hoot that rocks and rolls with wild abandon. It is one of the most fun recordings of Mahler's 7th I have hear to date.

What makes this particular Mahler attractive (and assuming that Levine's other Mahler recordings were done the same way) is that No. 7 is a Sound Stream digital recording. Telarc has a few SACD remakes of their Sound Stream recordings that made the transition to SACD just fine....therefore I bet that any of the Levine/Mahler recordings that are Sound Stream would make great remasters....now, will RCA ever be so nice to us????

Cheers,
