So Robert, no more SACDs?

Also, with your no deletion policy, are you going to soon offer your catalog on flash drives also?

Dear FD,

I would love to have music disseminated in a non-physical way - for the environment's sake. However, we aren't there yet, and so we will continue our production of SACD:s.

Talking of which, we just had a Board Meeting, where it was decided that, with very few exceptions, mostly pertaining to ongoing series, ALL of our production in future will be high-res, Mch on SACD:s.

Now how's that for good news?

Robert

I asked a simple question and you could have answered it. You have nothing to hide, you say. An answer and all this could have been avoided. And there is no need for all this abuse from you.

Thomas

You did NOT ask a simple question. You posted, without any comment, the link to an article that has precisely nothing to do with BIS, on the BIS thread.
You know exactly why you did so, and so does everyone else, including

Robert von Bahr

Being that you are BIS' Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Communications Officer, I wonder whether this was a board-meeting of one or if there were other actual members present. Based on the prevalence of multiple-personality posting among SA-CD.net's Nordic members, it's hard to know for sure...

Regardless, this is really good news. Now, let's just wait/hope for BIS' take on Bartok's 3 piano concertos, Poulenc's keyboard concertos and more Hindemith. In high-rez, of course.

This is why I asked the question:

Robert, any idea if you're going to do 7 & 8 soon with these same forces?

No, we're doing them with the Malaysian SO/Flor

Robert"

Not we have done them, but we are doing them.

Bravo! An enlightened decision, I think, that says a lot about current and future market directions, as you and I both perceive them.

You forgot Chief Proofhearing Officer (internally known as "sorry, can't hear, say again"), Chief Quarrelling-with-Thomas-Roth Officer, Chief Coffee Purchase Officer, Chief Book-cooking Officer and quite a few more. But, no, we have a Leading Group of 3 people, the Chief A&R Officer and the Chief Office Officer. Majority voting applies, and yes, I have been voted down on several occasions.

Best - Robert

Great news.

Now you just need to find a way to add more hours to the day so Ronald Brautigam can make more recordings.
