If you consider supporting the victims of a rotten leadership within an orchestra political, so be it. What in life is not political or driven by moral standards? We all live in the same world and are confronted with different questions where we have to make a choice. What food do I buy, what clothes and so on. It is up to our conscience and wallet. In Sweden we have a heated debate as to which countries we shall sell army supplies, weapons, to. Appparently we have sold to countries with dictatorships and people are reacting. I am, of course, not comparing weapons to orchestral recordings, but there is always a choice to make! And the choice is both political and moral. Everything we do is political.

You are a journalist, Thomas Roth. Or at least a reviewer. You mix private and professional. You also repeatedly, and I emphasize repeatedly, spread false information, something that you, as a journalist, should be allergic against.
I have already earlier stated that the SACD:s from Malaysia we are presently releasing were recorded prior to us knowing anything about the troubles in Malaysia. But you choose to ignore that. I have also said that there is nothing in our contract that saves us from a huge legal issue, should we NOT release what has already been recorded, and I for sure don't want to take on Petronas and the Malaysian Government in a Kuala Lumpur Court. You objected to that. Got Alzheimer or is your memory that short?
What comes in the future I don't know. Maybe they solve their problems, maybe not. There are no recordings planned at present, for obviousl reasons. Does that answer your question, Mr. Journalist?
To the question of us being funded by the Swedish taxpayer. No, we're not. I have also volunteered that info previously. Any company in Sweden can apply for Government money for any CD/SACD production. We do apply, and sometimes we get, most times not, typically for abt 3 productions/year in the size of some 7'000 Dollars/production, and only for productions with a strong Swedish connection. There are no guarantees, ever. The money we do receive is earmarked for the production applied for, not for general use. We would never even think of the idea of applying for Dvorák, played in Malaysia, so, Mr. Journalist Thomas F. Roth, you are wrong, and worse, YOU KNOW IT. A typical way in which a journalist can slant info, which, while formally almost correct, is completely misleading. That's you. You also know bloody well that I am extremely conscious of things important, like environment, where I have invested millions in basic research, which I will hand out for free to anyone interested in building climate-smartly. Just get off my case, will'ya?

I am not ignoring your info about releasing recordings made prior to the problems in Malaysia. I am simply asking if you are still recording there. You could have answered that simple question long ago. And the question is important.
There is absolutely no reason for you to be so abusive Robert. I haven´t got Alzheimer and I think your comment is really uncalled for.
So, no recordings planned at present. Why couldn´t you just answer that in a polite way to my sincere question? And why this "Mr Journalist" thing. Why so evil?

You can call me this or that but you know very well that not one music journalist write about the scams and frauds in our profession as much as I do. I may not always be right, but I try to be and when I am wrong I have no problems saying so. And I have never been so abusive about you as you have been about me.
Also, I don´t think you can find a journalist (!) in Sweden who have promoted your company as much as I have done. And I still do. But you can´t stand the duds that I am pointing out. I expect more from BIS sometimes. And remember, those negative reviews are few, very few.
I greatly admire your work Robert, but I don´t like the person you have become.

Read the post you're answering to. False, and slanted. Suggestive, and wrong. And you know exactly what you're trying to do. Take for instance the passage about us being a state-supported label. BS in spades, as you know extremely well yourself.

Well, then you haven't read what I write. And, no, it is NOT tax deductible (but it should be). Actually I will pay a higher tax than usual on my house, because it will be platinum-rated passive. The reasearch I have paid myself will be made freely available to anyone. With all due respect for music, this is a question that is far more important for this planet.

No, Thomas Roth with the many aliases, I only buy organic food and products with KRAV and RÄTTVISE-märkning (that's the guarantee that the workers have been correctly treated). Costs more, and for a reason. (This also goes for how we treat our artists and composers - we're the only label with a strict no-deletion policy.) I never buy or support anything that has to do with threatened animals or child labor. I have spent literally all I own(ed) in trying to live without wasting anything, as far as energy and environment is concerned. I do not buy oil at all and no petrol from countries that treat their women like cattle. Anyway I am soon buying an electric car, which I can charge with my own-produced electricity. We're going into downloads in a big way, since that is far more environmental-friendly than sending plastic all over the globe. So, like it or not, I certainly am conscious about what I do and how I behave. Would that also you showed some similar signs. Now, GET OFF MY CASE.
