Until it's confirmed that the AP 5.1 versions of Come Away With Me and Time Out are significantly superior to the Sony and Blue Note versions, I'd rather spend my money on BD discs where I can purchase 3 concert videos in 5.1 for the price of ONE AP remaster. Just placed a significant order with Acoustic Sounds making sure that NO duplicates of titles I already have in my collection were ordered.
At this juncture, since Amazon has been slow to include the more recent AP SACD remasters (The newer Impulses and Verves, Holly Coles, etc.) from third party vendors, with the FREE shipping offer (Over $79 US) it is more cost effective (at least in the US) to buy directly from Acoustic Sounds.

Here is the response I got from Analog Productions:
"The multichannel program on our Analogue Productions Norah Jones/Come Away With Me was remastered from the original SACD multichannel audio. There were some phase issues with the original that were corrected in the remastering and this reissued version does in fact sound dramatically better...."
Hope this helps somewhat.

I hadn't personally noticed phase issues but this sounds very interesting!

Just checked AP's website and the release date is moved to September. Disappointing.

I can verify this, as I was there :) - have heard both versions at the SA Center, and it most certainly was fixed.
The phase issue specifically was that the .1/LF channel was out of phase. It was fixed in this version. And does sound significantly better. (The low frequencies are no longer fighting the phase of your sub and it sounds a lot more full.)
So for that reason alone, if you're a MCh person, - it's reason to get it.
I can't speak to the delay though -- guess (and only a guess) some scheduling issue with DADC.

I have the original, and as it was early in my days of SACD, I compared SACD to CD layer, and to me, the SACD mch was audibly much better.
I read all the reviews of it at the time and don't ever remember any complaints about the bass. Was the album bass rich? I don't think so.

I positively am. I care much more about the surround aspect than the high resolution. My stereo-only SACDs are few.

You compared the multichannel DSD or the stereo DSD to the CD layer?

The new AP release beats the older SACD-version in all respects, more details, more body and power of the instruments and the voice, more natural sound. - Recommended !
