Hello,

This is a question for Zeus:
Is it possible to add new sites to the list of sites we can use for buying SACD titles?
The reason I am asking is because I do lots of purchases on Play.com (they also have a dedicated SACD section) so if I could access this site directly from SA-CD.net, it could generate extra revenue for this site.
I am also sure that many of the users of this site have their own preferred purchase places not listed here so maybe it would be interesting to share this list with everyone.

Any thoughts on this?

I'm willing to add links to new vendors, but it's a long term relationship. The vendor would need to carry a substantial catalogue of SA-CDs (in the thousands) plus have an affiliate (financial) program to make the (not inconsiderable) effort in keeping the links current worthwhile.

Well, of course that not any vendor can be part of the list. In my case I have brought Play.com into discussion because I have ordered on this site more than 400 items (DVD,SACD,CD) in the past two years and it is clear that I will keep on ordering more.
I just thought that if I could go to play.com directly from SA-CD.net to buy stuff (like I am currently doing for Amazon), this site could benefit from it (so in the end would all benefit).

I understand your reasoning and wish I could help. It takes an inordinate amount of time to keep the title to vendor links current (now over 23,400, all entered by hand). Ideally a vendor will have an XML interface to check links, get live pricing. If the vendor isn't set up for referrals, it's just hard work with no direct benefit for the site. There's probably dozens of other sites people buy from ... I fully expect people to shop around. I'm really after vendors that are attractive to the site's users and that I would be happy to send business to. The broader the range of vendors, the better for the site. Failing that, I'd much rather put my efforts into additional functionality for the site.
