Hooperthom it's not for playing music the way we play music.
You hookup your iPod/iPhone and have music to scratch to. It's an alternative to having two Technics 1200 turntables, with backtracking cartridges, a mixer and various LPs to use your scratchin' talents, for wannabe Rappers and DJs. It's the digital version of analog rap (see picture).

I know what it is, its still ugly.
I use to be a DJ back in my younger days.
