That Twitter post is, very sadly, not a joke.
Indeed. It occurs to me these are the same thugs who kidnap teenage girls who go to school to keep them as sex slaves and slaughter entire villages because (western) "education is haraam" – Boko Haram: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boko_Haram
It hardly gets more evil than this. Not a laughing matter.

If by "the same thugs" you mean crazy Islamists, you are most certainly correct. It's unlikely, though, that the Nigerian group Boko Haram had anything to do with the hilarious "music is haraam" poster proudly displayed in Leicester's Madani School.

My first thought was "but surely bird shit lands into it as well?" but apparently they've thought about it:

Indeed. I think that this double standard is absurd, although a homoeopath might argue the human additive is of a toxic concentration!

And now for something completely different:
Jack White's new 'ULTRA LP' plays at three speeds, hides tracks under label and employs many other vinyl tricks.
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/05/09/vinylfetish_hipsters_might_just_have_a_point/
- 2 vinyl-only hidden tracks hidden beneath the center labels - 1 hidden track plays at 78 RPM, one plays at 45 RPM, making this a 3-speed record - Side A plays from the inside out - Dual-groove technology: plays an electric or acoustic intro for “Just One Drink” depending on where needle is dropped. The grooves meet for the body of the song - Matte finish on Side B, giving the appearance of an un-played 78 RPM record - Both sides end with locked grooves - Dead wax area on Side A contains a hand-etched hologram by Tristan Duke of Infinity Light Science, the first of its kind on a vinyl record - Zero compression used in the mastering

I wonder what kind of secret message we can hear if we spin it backwards.
