Pioneer. Although Denon was the first true universal player and have been very happy with my player.

Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised if Sharp becomes the first brand.
At this year's CEDIA and CEATEC fairs they've been the first to announce an integrated Blu-ray Disc-based 'Home Theater in a Box' system (ie BD Player + Multichannel AV Receiver), the BD-MPC10. It has a 22.5MHz high-speed sampling 1-Bit digital amplifier, which to me sounds DSD-compatible.
Sharp has been on the SACD side of the fence from the beginning.
No price or date announced so far but with this typenumber it looks a lot more concrete than just a future concept.

Considering that after all the product announcements at CES 2007, CEDIA 2007 and CES 2008 including an ES series model Sony still doesn't show another SACD-compatible BD player than PS3 (see /showthread/18500/26180/y#26180 ) I'm shifting my hopes to Oppo.
