This new disc arrived yesterday. I am looking forward to a spin. I also purchased His Band And The Street Choir via HDTracks 24/192, so same musician, different albums, different formats, lets see if there is a winner.

Mark,
Moondance is a BIG winner. Superb 5.1 mix by Elliot Scheiner.
I expect you to 'rave' about this one.

Rickko was right, the 5.1 doesn't even compare to the 24/192 stereo.
That said, the Moondance mini box set has so much to offer for the money, it is a must. The 5.1 remix is super discreet and all speakers just sound beautiful.
The stereo of Street Choir, sounds absolutely great, full rich mid range with nice base, and treble just dripping perfectly over the top.
I like them both and will play them both again, actually I already have.
Thanks for the update Mark; I look forward to giving the 5.1 mix a spin when it spins it's way to me...

My Moondance magic has finally arrived and as Markie says, the surround mix is very nice indeed :)
