This is such a delightful set! Zemtsov and Noorland play as one person, and the selections are very well programmed--- including Dana Zemtsov's grandfather's Melodie im alten Stil, a heartfelt piece. The duo brings new life to Waxman's Carmen Suite, arranged for Viola and Piano, but it's the Bloch suite that really floated my boat. I've listened to this disc 3 times in the last week, and I LIKE IT! Recording quality is as expected: Superb.
