Thank you for the understanding

Reviewing can be a dangerous hobby and it seems that certain people get miffed when they don't hear the same things. What makes reviews worthwhile is the difference of opinion. Then we can ask why this is.

As I see it, the problem is not with your reviewing, or with what you hear, but with your making allegations, without first confirming them, as to Universal's honesty. If you can prove this with verifiable, documentable facts, more power to you, but if you can't, or haven't yet, I humbly suggest you best limit your reviews to what you hear rather than engage in potentially libelous speculation.

I'm assuming that the Dire Straits SHM SACD's are rereleases as well, since they're in stock all at once, which never happens with new releases.

I received last week all 5 re releases of SHM SACD Dire Straits, they sound great and I am very happy with them. They are the same Japanese green ink discs as the originals. Just plastic jewel cases, but, oh well.

Would you kindly provide a list of the re-issued SHM-SACD titles that you purchased ??

Received my order yesterday :

Dire Straits: Alchemy
Miles Davis Quintet: Workin' with the Miles Davis Quintet

Both of them do sound great. I have no problem to report. Can't say whether the DS sounds like the review says (for this is no detailed review) but it is very satisfactory and the MD sounds just as good as Analogue said.

My Satanic Majesties Request is on it's way. This is probably my most listened to Stones disc in my whole life, something about it really grabbed me.

So, that said, I am looking forward to being pleased by the SHM SACD release, not dissapointed.
