Qobuz have now gone live with their UK based operation and with a 50% discount on first order of up to £240. The French one worked for me but this will be easier as in english and pounds sterling.

Where'd you read about the discount? I've not yet ordered from them, but there's a few things I'd like...

I had an email from them as I had registered to the French site. They gave me a discount code which is probably linked to my account

Qobuz is in financial difficulties and has entered a procedure which corresponds to chapter 11 in the US

Not available here in the US and in the end doesn't sound like a very good partner.

DAR sent out a tweet on this earlier today. Choppy financial waters for Qobuz.

Wow, that didn't take long. Another good reason to limit this site to its namesake SACD.NET, it's not Download.net. Assuming Qobuz gets dropped from this site, please don't hop into bed with another download vender.

Why would anyone assume (and pass a story) that because Qobuz is in the French equivalent of Chapter 11, it will be "dropped from this site" which implies they will go under?

There are thousands of examples of companies emerging from bankruptcy protection in viable shape. In fact, probably more do than don't - that's the whole point of such "reorganizations".

Remember GM? Or Ford? Or Chrysler?
