Misleading links to various Amazon sites as this is the original Studio album recorded in 1973 and will be released as a 5.1 mch BD~A on 16.09.14.

Links to Quadrophrenia LIVE in London are mistakenly listed, a completely separate BD~A!

While I am at a loss to explain the reported details on the linked vendor sites, I believe the links are correct. Links are done via barcodes and serial numbers, not descriptions. The same for fulfilment by the vendor. If you have better information I would welcome it via the mechanism provided, namely "report errors".

In my experience, all BD~As usually include a 2.0 stereo track.

Here's confirmation of exactly what's on this disc:

http://www.superdeluxeedition.com/news/the-who-quadrophenia-blu-ray-audio-details-confirmed/#more-28857

..and here's the relevant info from that site:

"Universal Music have confirmed to this blog that the forthcoming blu-ray audio version of The Who‘s 1973 studio album Quadrophenia will contain the entire album in 5.1 surround sound. The Pure Audio release will also include a hi-res stereo mix.

Due to an incorrect track listing on the Universal website a few SDE readers have expressed concerns over the 5.1 content, so if you were in any doubt, then we’re pleased to clarify this.

The Pure Audio blu-ray is available as a standalone product and is also included as part of the Quadrophenia Live in London deluxe box set. Both are due for release on 9 June 2014.

NB: If you order the standalone blu-ray from Amazon, beware! They are incorrectly using the wrong cover image (Live in London) but the product via the links below is correct. The blu-ray audio has nothing to do with the live concert!"

Amazon has now corrected their listing (or at least the cover image).

If it's as good as the Blu-Ray Tommy it'll be worth it.

Your comments over at QQ saved me from buying the huge box set with only half of the songs in 5.1. Thanks!! Looking forward to this Blu-Ray version.

Off topic, but... Why isn't Jethro Tull's TAAB DVD listed in the hirez poll? Or... Did I miss it??

You're welcome! Me too! If the rest of the remixes are upto the standard of the DVD-A in the directors cut, we're in for a treat!

The TAAB 5.1 doesn't qualify for the Poll chart as it's not in Hi-Res but only a DVD-V in lossy 5.1 DTS.. of all the Tull 5.1's remixed by Steven Wilson so far only the Aqualung set qualifies for the Poll chart as it has a Blu-ray in the box.
