No need to sell me on SHM~SACDs....am already hooked but like yourself, am holding my breath for a 5.1 version.

Already have 3 SHM~SACDs en route.

Have been buying BD~Vs from Amazon by the truckload........ ridiculously cheap prices for quality product.

BTW, do you have the Eric Clapton Give Me Strength set, yet........I canceled my order. DO NOT NEED more RBCDs cluttering my already overcluttered listening venue.

I decided not to get Clapton, a little over priced for what you get.

The "Clutter" Factor. I hear ya!

I satisfied my Clapton fix with the BD~V of Crossroads 2013.......if you're NOT into video, turn off the monitor and enjoy the spectacular audio.. It really is pretty spectacular (I paid $14 for 2 BD~Vs......a genuine, bona fide STEAL)!

I didn't think the MFSL disc could be topped, but this SHM-SACD takes it to a whole other level. Would love to see "Crime of the Century" given the same treatment.

Quick question for anyone to chime in please. BIA is not one of my favorite ST releases as I like CWC way more. I do still like a few songs on this though, others I have heard way to much, but based on the reviews I am reading makes this sound like a sonic masterpiece. Is the killer sound on this worth buying to hear this in this format? Is it like hearing the music for the first time, so to speak? Thanks to anyone for welcomed feedback here!

I'll say this much... although I always liked the album, I never really appreciated how good it was until I heard the SACD. However if you're on a budget you might consider saving up for "Crime", to be released in a couple months.

Every time I listen to the SHM-SACD of BIA puts a huge smile on my face. By far the best version beating the HFPA Blu Ray version.

Can't wait to get Crime of the Century when it comes out in March.

Don't wait if this title is still on your wish list.
According to a Japanese seller it is (already) oop.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, just got one for $52.00 through a seller on Amazon, so not too bad a price from what I have seen other sellers at. Have not gotten it yet, but I am sure I will be amazed. By the way, has anyone bought from CD Japan? They seem to have the lowest price on these, but I would rather pay an extra $10.00 to not have someone place a control chip in my computer as that is what CD Japan does. Maybe I am being to cautious, but maybe not.

I have bought from CDJapan on several occasions (and have the SHM-SACD of Crime of the Century preordered from them) and have always had great service. Don't know what you mean by "control chip" if you are worried about cookies, disable them in your browser.

Thanks so much for the feedback on them. I will give them a try as I want to get Brothers In Arms as well as Crime of the Century. Was not aware you could disable what they install. Much appreciated!
