|By the Top Music International reputation I expected this SACD could have great sound, but Iam glad I was surprised the sound quality are even higher I should imagime, in fact I never listen a Acker Bilk recording sound this good.
As this SACD are a music collection/Best of, the 18 tracks recordings may be originated from various years and/or studios, but the Top Music 32bits/192kHz mastering job succeeded in obtaining a uniform sound quality that are free from tape anomalies, as tape hiss, tape saturation etc
Iam impressed by the transparence of these performances, there is no any sign of tape hiss, only crystal clear sound in the bass, mid and treble.
Mr.Acker Bilk should be proud of this pristine SACD release, I can not see defects in this release, the music are the essence of the cool, good taste and sophistication, as Acker Bilk arrangements are famous for, time is full disc at 66:45 with 18 tracks, the booklet have a Acker Bilk bio, even the cover are beautiful.
I Strongly Recommend this SACD for good music lovers or If you need a top quality demo SACD(Stereo Hybrid).
