This low price sampler is an ideal way to explore the "2+2+2" recording philosophy of the MDG label (www.222sound.ch).
The longest track on the 60 minute disc is the first movement from the Schumann piano concerto. The disc also contains 3 tracks from MDG productions (Schütz, Vivaldi, Rubinstein) which were only released on DVD-A or CD. Check the JPC link for the detailed track list.
I've only listened to it in stereo. The sound quality is first rate, except for balance problems on the Schumann quartet track.
