This is one of the most enjoyable soundtracks in recent years for me. The lyricism of the romantic passages is very evocative and beautiful, and lends itself to be easily enjoyed outside the context of the movie.
I have the DTS and standard CD versions of this soundtrack also. The DTS has a very tight and clean sound which I prefer to the SACDs more echo-ey and airy sound. I think the SACD has a greater dynamic range in the louder passages and also you can hear instrumental timbers better. They both sound great though, and this SACD is really nice to listen to. (Although I like the lyrical numbers over the action numbers.)
