While the CD layer is good, the SACD layer is noticeably better. If you are a fan of percussion this is a must buy. The sonics are very good; with Chesky sonics are not usually an issue. I have found that I prefer the 2 channel to the multi channel on my system as with most Chesky MC releases...this does seem better than most Chesky titles in MC though.
The music really is hypnotic and very relaxing. I've fallen asleep listening to this at fairly loud volumes.

Great, great, great! If you addicted to drums and the sprit of Africa - buy it. Excellent quality, superb. Highly recommendable!
