Another Telarc album with great reviews verified by the listening experience. I would classify this album as leaning towards progressive jazz. The soundstage is wide and deep with excellent resolution of the instruments very clearly positioned.

I don't know what the previous reviewer was listening to, but this is another great Telarc album. It won the 2005 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, Individual or Group. Take your pick of the glorius reviews of this album at telarc.com - IMHO they're spot on! Michael Bishop is one great recording engineer demonstrated by the excellent resolution and imaging of instruments and the wide and deep soundstage. This album all but transports you to a live venue.
