Just got this SACD a few days ago and I was more than pleasantly surprised. The first impression is that Martin Ostertag makes this music very enjoyable to listen to, one is not tempted to only play a few tracks, I just let it run. I have quite a few interpretations of these charming songs, including Von Stade, Davrath , and Dame Kiri, the big plus is that Veronique Gens is French speaking and you can hear that her Auvergne accent sound genuine. As the previous reviewer I really enjoyed this recording. I also have the Ton Koopman Bach complete organ works which consist of 16 RBCD's and cd no 4 which contains these sonatas is actualy my favorite cd. So why get this one??
