Even though I'm a fan of this format, I have to agree with the Amazon reviewer. This is a cold, hard sounding set, lacking the warmth, "air", presence, and detail of even the CD editions of these tracks. Very digital...

Breathtakingly awful. How could the "engineers" involved in this project have been satisfied with the sound of this disc? It sounds like it's been encoded through an otter. My £2.99 Woolworths bargain-bucket CCR Greatest Hits CD sounds dramatically better than this. Steer well clear.
