I bought this album after reading rave reviews on the internet.
Even though it cost me an arm and a leg to order it and have it shipped to Europe I did it because of the high expectations I had.

Sita is pretty famous in the Netherlands. She was part of a Big Brother like show, take some semi talented kids and throw them into the original Big Brother house, give them singing and dancing lessons, and start hoping the 12 to 16 year olds like it. Not much to say about this album except for the title speaks for itself. Soul on Jazz, Philip sings some Jazz songs with a Soul approach and Soul songs with a Jazz approach.
All in all a nice album to listen to, great background music when you doing something else. But also great to listen to ... more |

Before I bought this album I had never heard any of his music. The only reason I knew his name was because of the fact there are a lot of stories about people going to his concerts and requesting Bryan Adams songs.

Andrea Bocelli shot to fame in my home county (the Netherlands) when one of his songs was used in a pasta commercial. Nobody ever heard of this guy outside of Italia (and as I found out later Germany) but he made quiet an impression.
