This is one of my favorate female vocal albums. In particular, I like the Spanish Harlem and Grandmother selections.
Rebecca Pidgeon's voice reminds be of an Irish singer, but If I remember correctly , she's not from Irelend.
The cuts have variety and all are listenable.

Flushed from their success with their first 2 albums, the Police rushed out this album. Frankly, most bands would sell their soul to make as compelling an album. Sonically, I feel this album is the most improved over the previous releases and the best of all the Police releases.

Out of the 5 studio albums from the Police, I have always felt that this album was them at their best. The most unified album of a far to short career, many feel that "Ghost in the Machine" is too dark. This SACD has very good sonics--vastly superior to the CD. It also has several bigs hits, but also, like many Stones albums, it has a couple filler cuts. All in all, I'm glad I bought this SACD. |

This was a double album that was put on one SACD. It contains some of Dylan's most popular singles at the peak of his popularity including Rainy Day Woman, I Want you, and Just Like a Woman.
