What can one say about this album except that it is a classic?
Man one can only think what it must have been like to see these guys play live. It must have been a trip. Three great guitar players all at their peak, and performing live on the same stage.

When I bought this album I thought it was a good idea. I had not heard it since the late 80’s and had great memories of it.

Elegant Gypsy is a classic. It has some of the most exciting guitar work Al DiMeola ever made. It seems like every album he made after this one is trying to recycle the success he had with Elegant Gypsy.

This is one of the first SACDs I bought. I have had this disc for about a year now. As time passes I find myself playing it less and less.
