If you like Jazz trio's and the bass as an instrument I would recommend Tony Overwater's disc called "OP" (for Oscar Pettiford).

This one's a sleeper. A soft trumpet with various female vocals including Diana Krall. It's soft and romantic. |

I bought this for my wife, but I like it. With 16 selections, its a good value, all selections are good to excellent performances, and it's recorded quite well. No surprises here. |

I'm not a deadhead, but I like a lot of Grateful Dead's music. Phil Lesh has prodiced some well recorded personal albums. In my opinion, this is not one of them. The music seems uninteresting and sonically it's compressed. I'm disappointed in this effort. I had high expectations. |
