Absolute killer of an album and playing this MOFI release reminded me why I loved the Doobie Brothers back in the 70's. Classic album with horrific vocal mix. I mean, the Engineers should have to spend jail time for this effort. They managed to trash one of the best selling albums/CD's of all time. Excellent recording - great backup vocals, horn section and overall mixing. You can't miss Albert's twang guitar and vocal style. Big disappointment in sonic quality. As a reviewer wrote before me - - very, very thin soundstage. Carole and her piano with a nasally, shrill tone to the entire SACD.
