Absolute killer of an album and playing this MOFI release reminded me why I loved the Doobie Brothers back in the 70's. What a rare combination of power and vocals - - especially the fabulous harmonies. The Memphis Horns really added some weight to this classic album.

Absolute, stone cold fabulous Japanese remastering of Donald Fagen's finest solo effort.
Brilliant mix - - true Multi-Channel 5.1 heaven.
An absolute, hands down, must have JSACD to show off your Home Theater and Audio System to your family and friends alike.

Classic album with horrific vocal mix. I mean, the Engineers should have to spend jail time for this effort. They managed to trash one of the best selling albums/CD's of all time.

Excellent recording - great backup vocals, horn section and overall mixing. You can't miss Albert's twang guitar and vocal style. Some real classic cuts - "Little Brother" and "Answer to the Laundromat Blues."

Big disappointment in sonic quality. As a reviewer wrote before me - - very, very thin soundstage. Carole and her piano with a nasally, shrill tone to the entire SACD. They should entitle it "EchoRama." I'm sorry I did not read the reviews beforehand.
